Unpublished Writer's Epistle
Dearly beloved Brian Cowen, this
Is sent to thank you for the cheese
& a euro price that greatly fell,
We hope your bonds are doing well
& tell us please, we're none the wiser,
What happened to our Celtic tiger,
You say it was the People's fault
That all now has come to a halt.
We thank you for the bailout loan
It’s good to know we’re not alone
& we’ll pay it back, and then some more,
To ensure that Banks are never poor.
